This product is designed for treating fasteners and finishing joints and corners between gypsum boards in walls and ceilings, as well as for applying finishings, textures and making small repairs to gypsum walls. It leaves a smooth surface, which is ideal for applying coats of paint or reaching the desired finish. It is 20% lighter than traditional compounds, and has been produced to prevent cracks and reduce the percentage of shrinkage which naturally occurs when the compound dries and loses water due to evaporation. Apply on fully dry and smooth surfaces. If applied as a texture, it may require dilution. It is recommended that you add clean water in small portions to prevent excess water, which may cause cracks or prevent it from adhering. Coverage : 1.5 m2/Kg. (depending on the desired finish) Boxes : 17.4 Kg (38 Lb), 25 Kg (55 Lb) General Application Cover drywall joint with a thin coat of prepared compound and soak the reinforcement tape, leaving a coat of approxi-mately 1/32"(1mm) under the tape. Drying time may vary depending on the weather conditions, the type of compound and the amount of water.Let dry before applying a second coat, which will cover 2" (5 cm) more in each side of the ends of the first coat. Let dry again and smoothly sand the section with compound. Fina-lly, apply a third coat covering 2"(5 cm) more than the last coat in each side. Slightly sand, preferably with damp sandpaper for a greater quality in the finishing and lower breathable dust production. All surfaces must be dry, clean and free of grease or dust, since this could prevent a proper adherence to the substra-te.
