Installation
  • Indications provided by standard NF P 98 335 and the CCTG booklet 29 prevail.
  • Installation must be carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
  • The bedding mortar is leveled with a straightedge and laid progressively. Its thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
  • Elements must be moistened, especially in hot weather.
  • During installation, blend products of different colors or shades from different batches.
  • Joints are provided between elements. Joints are raked and filled with mortar no earlier than 24 h after laying and no later than 72 h after. Joint width should be as small as possible but not less than 5 mm.
  • Immediately after jointing, the pavement must be cleaned to avoid any film or deposit on the surface of the elements.
  • Expansion joints must be provided in accordance with regulatory requirements (10 ml or 20 m²).

Maintenance
  • All products in the Replik range are designed to preserve natural or worked surface aspects.
  • Original colors are very stable compared with other more open‑textured concrete surfaces.
  • Minimal maintenance is generally required; a natural patina develops over time.
  • Applying a mineralizing treatment facilitates cleaning and extends the life of the original surface aspect.
  • The use of high‑pressure cleaners or acidic products is strongly discouraged as they may cause irreversible alterations.
  • De‑icing salts must be used in reasonable quantities, avoiding excessive stagnant residues.
