Installation
  • Provisions of standard NF P 98 335 and CCTG booklet 29 prevail.
  • Install between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Morts should be prepared or supplied progressively as work advances.
  • The bedding mortar must be levelled with a screed during installation; target uniform thickness ≈ 4 cm.
  • Paving units should be moistened, especially in hot weather.
  • When laying, mix units from different packs to even out colour/nuance variations.
  • Joints must be left between units; fill joints with mortar no sooner than 24 h and no later than 72 h after laying.
  • Minimum joint width: 5 mm (as narrow as geometry allows).
  • Clean the surface immediately after jointing to avoid film or deposits on the units.
  • Dilatation joints must be provided according to normative requirements (every 10 lm or 20 m²).

Maintenance
  • Original colours are very stable; minimal maintenance required.
  • Applying a mineral protector eases cleaning and prolongs surface appearance.
  • Do not use high-pressure cleaners or acidic products (risk of irreversible damage).
  • Use de-icing salts sparingly, avoiding excessive stagnant residues.
