Description

Presentation
ECLAZ® LUMI is part of the ECLAZ® range by Saint-Gobain Glass. It is a next-generation coated glass designed for manufacturing double and triple insulated glazing (enhanced thermal insulation) offering exceptional transparency to maximize natural daylight. It is particularly suited for low-light dwellings and is included in the "les engagés" range, which groups solutions performing on energy & carbon, resource & circularity, and health & wellbeing.

Applications
ECLAZ® LUMI is designed for use in double or triple glazing and is suitable for façades, windows, large glazed openings and conservatories. It is compatible with a low-carbon substrate (ORAÉ®).
Additional options available:
  • Safety (e.g. STADIP® PROTECT)
  • Acoustics (e.g. STADIP® SILENCE)
  • Low-maintenance (e.g. BIOCLEAN®)

Advantages
  • Brighter interiors thanks to very high light transmittance.
  • Reduced heat loss during cold periods (enhanced thermal insulation).
  • Lower heating and artificial lighting use with potential energy savings.

Key performances
With 83% natural light gain, ECLAZ® LUMI retains interior heat while letting through maximum solar energy and light. This glazing can meet RE2020 requirements (in certain zones and configurations) thanks to the balance between its thermal insulation coefficient, high light transmittance and solar factor.

Performance table (insulating glazing composition, Argon gas)
Insulating glazing composition (mm) | Light transmittance (TL in %) | Solar factor (g in %) | Ug (W/m²·K) | Acoustic Rw (C;Ctr) (dB) | Security class EN356
4-16-4 ECLAZ® LUMI | 83 | 71 | 1.1 | 31 (-1, -4) | NA
4-16-44.2 ECLAZ® LUMI SILENCE | 82 | 70 | 1.1 | 40 (-3, -7) | P2A
4-16-44.2 ECLAZ® LUMI PROTECT | 82 | 68 | 1.1 | 37 (-2, -6) | P2A
4-16-SP510 ECLAZ® LUMI PROTECT | 82 | 68 | 1.1 | 39 (-2, -6) | P25

Definitions
  • TL (Light transmittance): measures transmitted visible light; the higher the value, the brighter the interior.
  • g (solar factor): measures transmitted solar heat; the lower the value, the better the solar control.
  • Ug (thermal transmittance): measures the ability to retain heat; the lower the value, the better the insulation in winter.
