Summary
ECLAZ® SUN is a double glazing solution with reinforced thermal insulation and solar control, designed to limit overheating while admitting natural light. It is suitable for highly exposed windows, large bay windows and conservatories. ECLAZ® SUN belongs to the ECLAZ® range and the "les engagés" line, which groups solutions focused on environment, health and comfort.

Operation and benefits
ECLAZ® SUN combines reinforced thermal insulation and solar control: in summer it reduces excessive heat to limit overheating periods and decrease air-conditioning use; in winter it provides effective insulation against the cold.

Applications
Designed for highly exposed windows, large bay windows and conservatories. Compatible with low-carbon substrates (e.g. ORAÉ).

Performance
ECLAZ® SUN enables significant energy savings (2023 study by the Passive House Institute): up to -10% heating in northern France and up to -23% in the south, compared with double glazing from before 2000. It reduces the overheating period by 56% (time above 26°C) without relying on air-conditioning or shading. It meets RE2020 requirements in southern France thanks to a good balance between thermal insulation, light transmission and solar factor.
