Exclusive and attractive are fitting adjectives for the veneer figure in East Indian rosewood. Like others in the rosewood family, this veneer has a vivid curly or stripy figure. The elegant brown hue ranges from red to violet and even to black. It is the dark combinations of violet to blackish brown that make this veneer particularly lively.
