Soot problems with your large wood-fired oven?
Smoki Maxi is the abatement system designed for large wood-fired ovens, such as those used in bakeries, with an airflow capacity of up to 7,500 m³/h.
Smoki Maxi achieves a 95% soot reduction. The smoke from your wood-fired oven enters the abatement system, where it is subjected to a water wash generated by special nozzles within a manifold. This process causes the soot to settle into the water collected inside the machine. The cleaned smoke then exits from the opposite side and continues its path through the flue.
Additionally, the Maxi models feature a labyrinth filter section and are prepared for the installation of droplet separator filters, should an extractor be required.
The washing system operates with water recirculation managed by an electric pump. While the recirculation system is running, a solenoid valve introduces clean water into the abatement system, and the same amount of non-evaporated water is discharged through the drainage system. This ensures effective cleaning while minimizing water consumption.
Installation of our abatement systems is simple and flexible. The Maxi abatement system can be installed at any point along the flue from your oven, either indoors or outdoors. For outdoor setups, we provide a dedicated protective panel to shield the machine from the elements. The basic requirements are a water supply from the mains, a sewage drain, and an electrical connection to power the unit. It’s also essential to use a properly sized, sealed flue made of AISI 316 stainless steel, as the post-wash fumes contain high moisture levels.
