The Adam tartan contains a rich mix of green blue and reds with white and black. Crest: A cross crosslet fitchée Gules surmounted by a sword in saltire Proper Motto: CRUX MIHI GRATA QUIES [from Latin: The cross gives me welcome rest] Seat: Blair Adam, estate in Kinross-shire.
