HISTORY The Robertson clan are thought to be either descendant from Crinan, Lord of Atholl OR the founder of clan Donnachaidh was the second son of Angus MAcDonald, Lord of the Isles. The clan name Robertson or Donnachaidh being taken from their ancestor Duncan, a prominent person at the battle of Bannockburn.
