The Shrubtubs Serpentine is a modular tree planter and seating system designed for curved and circular layouts in urban spaces. It combines protected planting areas with integrated or optional seating elements and can be configured to suit squares, pedestrian streets and shopping areas.

Treetec™ tree care system
Treetec™ is an integrated tree-care solution for planters to support healthy root development and reduced maintenance. Available variants include Treetec™ Basic and Treetec™ Bottom Up.

• Treetec™ Basic: oxygen circulation components, thermal insulation and sub-soil root-ball fixing system.
• Treetec™ Bottom Up: bottom water reservoir with capillary columns to improve water distribution and reduce watering frequency; uses biodegradable capillary columns that gradually decompose and integrate into the substrate.

Treetec™ biodegradable column stages

• Stage A: installation of columns against the root cloth
• Stage B: initial root growth into the column structure; first reduction of moisture-retaining fibers
• Stage C: continued root development and partial degradation of the column
• Stage D: column replaced by root mass; optimal water and oxygen retention by roots
