The Rough&Ready Hug a Tubs Square pairs a ShrubTub tree planter with Rough&Ready wall benches to create modular, mobile green seating islands. The ShrubTub provides a stable planting base while the Rough&Ready bench elements can be mounted single-sided, double-sided, corner-mounted or all-around. Configurations are designed for temporary or semi-permanent public-space installations and suit urban designers, landscape architects and councils seeking fast greening solutions.

Treetec™ tree care system
Streetlife applies the Treetec™ system in its tree tubs to support optimal root development in confined planters. The system improves aeration, thermal insulation and water management for healthier, long-term tree growth.

Treetec™ Basic
Treetec™ Basic is a care kit that provides oxygen circulation, thermal insulation and sub-soil root ball fixing to support initial establishment and healthy development in tree planters.

Treetec™ Bottom Up
Treetec™ Bottom Up locates a water reservoir at the base of the tub with capillary tubes to improve water distribution and reduce watering frequency during the growing season. The biodegradable Bottom Up column gradually degrades and integrates into the substrate over time.

Four stages of the biodegradable capillary columns

• Stage A: Installation of columns against the root cloth
• Stage B: Initial root growth into the column; moisture-retaining fibres begin to decrease
• Stage C: Further root penetration; partial degradation of the column
• Stage D: Fully developed root-structured column replacing the original capillary column, optimising water and oxygen retention
