What is Storeview Web?
Storeview Web (SvW) is a software platform offering a secure, modern web interface for full remote access to AK-SM800A and selected legacy AK-SM800 front-ends. SvW replaces Storeview Browser 5 and Storeview Desktop and consolidates selected functions from ServiceTool, RMT and SiteService. The application runs on modern browsers, desktop environments and mobile devices. SvW is developed on modern frameworks and evolves independently from AK-SM800(A) firmware updates.

Integration and architecture
Storeview Web shares core architecture elements with Alsense cloud services to provide a consistent user experience and to benefit from platform-wide shared features.

• PWA / offline: SvW can be installed as a Progressive Web App on supported OS/browser combinations (HTTPS required).

Access requires an account/profile that matches the target AK-SM800(A) unit and network access to the device. Depending on device configuration (HTTP vs HTTPS) and browser settings, certificate validation or specific desktop usage may be needed to establish a connection.
