Overview
GUBI_MASSIVE SLATS® is a slat-on-panel bamboo ceiling system formed by demountable modules of solid bamboo slats mechanically fixed to a fibreboard backing panel. The system creates a continuous slatted surface that conceals the plenum and building services while preserving the textured appearance and light-and-shadow effect of bamboo slats.

Visual continuity without sacrificing the depth of the slats
The panel configuration maintains the relief and the interplay of light and shadow typical of bamboo slats while eliminating the openness of traditional open systems. The continuous surface delivers a cleaner, more uniform perception of interior ceilings and highlights architectural finishes.

Integration of building services and improved acoustic comfort
The backing panel can be supplied with different perforation patterns. When combined with sound-absorbing materials installed above the suspended ceiling, these perforations increase acoustic absorption and help reduce reverberation. The system allows full concealment of HVAC ducts, electrical trays and cabling while maintaining a visually rhythmic slatted surface.
