Mounting & power
Battery operation enables fully flexible placement for areas without nearby mains power. The integrated 5200 mAh battery supports extended standby duration. Use the magnetic bracket for easy removal and charging or the screw mount for permanent installation. A 2.4‑GHz WLAN network is required for commissioning.

Image quality & detection
The camera records detailed images in 3‑megapixel resolution and switches automatically to infrared night mode for low‑light conditions. Lens: 3.2 mm @ F2.0; selectable field of view options: 110° / 60° / 130°.

Notifications & storage
Intelligent person detection analyzes motion and sends notifications only for relevant events to limit false alarms. Live video and audio are available via the Homematic IP app. Local recording via microSD (max. 256 GB, FAT32) and optional cloud event clips are supported.

Protection & outdoor use
The IP65 housing protects against rain, snow and temperature variations. Typical mounting locations include façades, carports, sheds, access roads and other outdoor areas requiring surveillance.

Applications
Suitable for flexible retrofitting of outdoor surveillance: vehicle access monitoring, garden and terrace surveillance, and integration with Homematic IP motion sensors and switching actuators for automated lighting control.

Important notes
Internet connection is required for remote access, push notifications and optional cloud clips. Local storage on microSD is possible without paid subscription. Performance (battery life, event frequency) depends on usage and environmental conditions.
