The presence detector also detects movement and switches the light on depending on ambient brightness. Unlike a movement detector, it also switches the light back off when the area is bright enough. As a result, the presence detector is especially suitable for rooms that are used for longer periods and that receive a high proportion of daylight. Depending on the insert used, two channels can be controlled separately. With the first one, the light is switched on or off depending on brightness. The second one controls brightness-independent functions such as heating, air conditioning or ventilation.
