6 storey building 38 luxury apartments 95 modules GLA – 2 900 m² Completion – 2014 The Battersea project is an eye catching and stylish building that brings out an affluent feel, placed right outside the heart of London. With strategically placed lights on the exterior of the building, its elegant presence is even greater at night. From top to bottom the building is six storeys tall, filled with 38 luxurious apartments, and 95 modules. In the basement, there is a parking lot with enough space for 19 cars, including three electric car ports. The ground floor has two commercial units as well as a reception area for residents. On the first floor, there is access to several apartment units and a communal garden that sits on a terrace. The remaining floors are accessed via stairs and above them all sits a roof terrace with a private garden, giving residents a wonderful view from the top. Each apartment unit possesses a balcony with select units containing a Juliet style balcony. Each unit came prefabricated from the factory, which permits extremely fast erection of the building. The apartments even came internally finished with tile and paint on the walls. With a simple delivery of prefabricated units from the trucks, the construction process is put at a greater ease by placing each pod with a crane into its respectful position. Time is money in construction, and with a speedy development significant amounts of money can be saved.
