Overview
The ceiling lamp VIOR combines brilliant direct light with ceiling-brightening indirect light, creating a pleasant and distinctive atmosphere. Its compact, sensual shape integrates seamlessly into contemporary interiors and supports architectural accents. A smaller VIOR version is available as a high-voltage variant for direct connection to existing 230 V installations.

Designed by RIBAG Design Studio to combine two lighting moods—brilliant direct light and ceiling-brightening indirect light—using a single LED and precise light control.

Technology and optics
In collaboration with Bartenbach, VIOR uses a patented optical system with primary and secondary lenses and microreflectors to deliver pinpoint-directed light and excellent glare control. The integrated light source is flicker-free with high color rendering. Optics achieve UGR ≤ 16 for good visual comfort.

Splash water protection
Protection rating IP54 permits use in indoor wet zones.

Light quality and tunable white
High-quality LEDs provide excellent color rendering (CRI > 90). Tunable white versions span 2200 K to 5000 K to create atmospheres from warm candlelight to cool workplace lighting while maintaining high color fidelity across intensities.

Die-cast aluminium housing with synthetic PMMA glass. Simple and reliable ceiling mounting. Multiple finishes available to match interior designs.
