Solid wood supporting wall This solution envisages a solid wood load-bearing wall instead of a more common brick curtain wall. The internal side of this is covered by a heat-reflecting and vapour barrier membrane, complete with inner double gypsum plasterboard. The outer side is protected by a waterproof, breathable membrane and an insulating layer, available in three variants. The solution is completed externally by a wall of SanMarco facing clay brick (12x25x5.5 cm) spaced from the insulating layer to create an air chamber.
