Overview
230 V electric roof window designed for wired integration into building automation systems. The unit includes an integrated rain sensor and provides the possibility to connect an electric roller shutter. Installation follows the same mounting process as manual roof windows; the roller shutter is connected directly to the window motor.

Wiring & control
Two conductors are provided for the window (open/close) and two for the roller shutter (up/down). Each conductor is colour-coded as indicated on the rating plate and wiring diagram.
The function of an input is defined by the presence of the 230 V supply. If only the window is powered at 230 V, only the window responds to control signals. If both window and roller shutter are connected, both devices respond to commands on the control cable. Each product must be connected to its own switch or control channel.

Compatibility with electric sun shading

• It is generally not recommended to have electric blinds receive control commands via the 230 V window wiring unless the blind is specifically designed for that arrangement. The blind can be operated via the supplied wall switch.
• For 230 V GGL/GGU electric windows, the roller shutter is connected in the junction box to the two shutter conductors; power is supplied via the window mains cable and the integrated power supply.
• When retrofitting a manually operated roof window, the KLC 230 power supply may be required for certain sizes/cases.
