Description

The 3D|CORE™ PET FR is a closed-cell, thermoplastic and recyclable high-performance rigid foam with basic FST properties (flame, smoke, toxicity). It is suitable for applications to fulfil high fire protection requirements to protect people in a fire situation and to evacuate and rescue them. The integrated honeycomb structure creates more flexibility and simplifies handling in production. Properties of 3D|CORE™ PET FR: - Available density: 95 kg/m³ Very good fire retardancy (DIN 5510; NF F16-101; FAR 25.853; EN 13823; EN 45545-2; IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 5) - Excellent fatigue resistance - Excellent long-term thermal stability up to 100°C - Very high processing temperature up to 180°C - Closed-cell foam (no water absorption, no reexpansion, no outgassing) - Long lasting - no rotting - Easy processing with all known resin systems and processes - Very high chemical resistance - Homogenous connection of all components - Excellent surface adhesion (connection between the surfaces and core) - Highly consistent material properties - Good thermal insulation - Integrated flowing aid - Low resin absorption Applications of 3D|CORE™ PET FR in the architectural industry: - housings - panels - design elements - facades - roofs - coverings
