Arconic Architectural Products SAS delivered Reynolux® pre-painted aluminium sheets as cladding material for the facade. This project is part of a complete restructuring program of the existing building “Alembert & Fermat” on the campus of INSA Lyon. This project is subject to a high environmental quality. As solution, the pre-painted aluminium Reynolux® was selected because of its long-term resistance, weather resistance, environnemental standards, design, warranty and its easy processing. The pre-painted aluminum Reynolux® has been installed on a standing seam roof system for the building’s facade. The original facade, made of pre-fabricated and repetitive elements, that no longer met current thermal standards, were entirely replaced with the pre-painted aluminium facade in the colour Copper Metallic. Furthermore, the coating DURAGLOSS® 5000 offers three other advantages: a better flexibility, aesthetics (extremely large range of colours) and a better durability.
