Description

ISOLCAP FEIN 300 represents the state of the art in premixed underlays. With an in-place density of only 300 kg/m3, this product combines selected hydraulic binders with fine expanded polystyrene beads (Ø 2 mm) of consistent particle size. These beads are individually pre-treated with the organic E.I.A. additive during production, ensuring homogeneous distribution within the mix and providing high thermal insulation power with a thermal conductivity λD of 0.078 W/mK. ISOLCAP FEIN 300 is the ideal product for creating lightweight single-layer underlays and screeds, suitable for direct flooring adhesion (more details in the installation manual). With its advanced formula, ISOLCAP FEIN 300 is suitable for the direct application of pre-fabricated waterproofing membranes, including both hot- and cold-applied bituminous layers, cold-applied synthetic membranes, and solvent-free liquid waterproofing coatings, ensuring superior effectiveness and durability. This product requires minimal mixing water, ensuring exceptional drying times (1 day per cm of thickness) and preventing any hygrometric shrinkage, even over time (no volume reduction in the mixture). NOTE Zero hygrometric shrinkage. Zero seepage. Dimensionally stable. Ultra-low residual moisture. No cracking. RAL certified.
