Design
The Grandemare sofa was designed with an eye to understatement, combining geometric yet soft volumes without sharp corners. It rests on a wood platform covered in hide leather. Grosgrain piping, tone-on-tone or contrasting, outlines seat, armrest and back upholstery. An epoxy-powder-coated metal perimeter frame set back from the edges of the hide-clad platform gives the sofa a floating appearance.

Technical specifications

• Base: epoxy powder-coated metal. Supports rest on thermoplastic pads.
• Seat frame: wood covered with hide leather. Available hide finishes: grey 5003, dark brown 5004, extra dark brown 5013, black 5005, olive 5006, sand 5001, tobacco 5015, linen 5019, mole 5020, chestnut 5021, dark brown suede 6004, black suede 6005, olive suede 6003, sand suede 6001.
• Armrests and backrest: metal frame with polyurethane foam and sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) padding, covered with a protective laminated fabric.
• Seat cushions: sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) with crushproof, variable-density insert.
• Backrest cushions: sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label). Optional backrest cushions available on request with surcharge.
• Upholstery: removable for both fabric and leather versions.
• Piping: grosgrain, available in all sample-card colours for both fabric and leather covers.
• Perimeter frame finish: epoxy powder-coated metal, set back from platform edges for a floating effect.
