Overview
An undeniable best-seller from the Flexform collection, Groundpiece has transformed the very concept of the sofa, introducing several innovations. It is a deconstructed line with new proportions: low and deep, designed for a relaxed and casual approach to seating. Groundpiece embodies the quintessence of Flexform comfort and is exceptionally inviting thanks to amply sized goose-down cushions. The padded elements can be crafted in sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) in the premium version, or in Dacron.

Groundpiece responds to changes in lifestyle by expanding the sofa's functions: resting, watching TV, reading, working and even having dinner on the sofa are considered in the design.

Armrest concept
The armrest can be either padded and upholstered or a cowhide-clad metal console that functions as a flat surface for accessories and can be provided with shelves for holding objects.

Technical specifications

• Structure elements: in metal with molded polyurethane padding, covered with a protective laminated fabric.
• Structure ottoman: in solid wood with polyurethane foam padding, covered with a protective laminated fabric.
• Seat cushions: in sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) with insert in crushproof material; or in polyurethane foam and dacron. Premium seat cushions in sterilized goose down with insert in high resilience crushproof material.
• Backrest cushions: in sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) with or without polyurethane foam support bolster. Optional backrest cushions available upon request (with upcharge).
• 'Fabric 24' armrest: in metal with molded polyurethane padding, covered with a protective laminated fabric.
• 'Fabric 12' armrest: in solid wood with polyurethane foam padding, covered with a protective laminated fabric.
• Cowhide armrest: in metal upholstered in cowhide. Available cowhide colors include grey 5003, dark brown 5004, extra dark brown 5013, black 5005, olive 5006, sand 5001, tobacco 5015, linen 5019, mole 5020, chestnut 5021, dark brown suede 6004, black suede 6005, olive suede 6003, sand suede 6001.
• Feet: in epoxy powder-coated metal; rests on pads made of thermoplastic material.
• Upholstery: removable in both fabric and leather versions.
