FREEPORT modular sectional sofa system. Designer: Antonio Citterio — 2021. Configurations suitable for outdoor and indoor use with aluminum structural frame, removable upholstery and optional iroko or stone tops.

Design
The system features clean, square lines and an aluminum base engineered for outdoor exposure. The aluminum frame is available with epoxy powder-coat or embossed lacquer finishes. Seat and back cushions are square and generously padded, finished with grosgrain piping.

• Modular elements allow multiple compositions and flexible layouts.
• Includes a reclinable daybed that can stand alone or be integrated using easily attachable/detachable fasteners.
• Optional stone-topped elements can be used as functional table surfaces within compositions.
• Seat and backrest cushions: square, roomy, padded; grosgrain piping detail.
• Recommendation: use protective covers (available on request) if units remain unused for extended periods.
• Most components are recyclable.

Compositions
Freeport is available in multiple compositions and codes (examples include Cod. 0285XA, 0285XB, 0285XC, 0285XD) to suit project layouts and space planning.

Technical specifications

• Structure: aluminum with epoxy powder-coat finish (colors: white 100, wine red 405, khaki green 705, burnished, matt titanium 710, grey 715) or embossed lacquer finish (white 300, sand 310, brick 320, sage green 330, terracotta 325, forest green 335, charcoal 350).
• Top (armrest/coffee table): solid iroko (natural, stained grey, satined brown, lacquered white) or stone tops (porphyry, cardoso, lava stone, beola argentata, matt tajmahal) with painted plywood underpanel.
• Webbing: water-repellent elastic webbing (sand 9001, grey 9003, anthracite 9005, black 9009, salt & pepper 9017).
• Fasteners and screws: AISI 316 stainless steel; spacers: die-cast zama with transparent epoxy powder-coat finish.
• Seat cushion: polyurethane foam and polyester fiber, covered with water-repellent laminated fabric.
• Backrest cushion: polyester fiber with bolster and water-repellent casing.
• Optional cushions: polyester fiber with water-repellent casing (available on request, extra cost).
• Upholstery piping: grosgrain piping available in all sample-board colors.
• Upholstery: removable fabric covers.
• Feet: aluminum with thermoplastic tips.
• Cover: waterproof protective cover available on request (extra cost).
