The energy efficient Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) used to clad the building is characterized by large-scale, up to 8.8 m high, glazing elements and internal sun blinds. A 94 x 24 m large testing hall with glazed roofs is situated in the center of the new building. Inner courtyards are located above the glazed roofs. The 550 standard elements of the Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) are 3.15 x 4.32 m and weigh 1,100 kg. The largest elements of the inner court yard are 3.15 m wide and 8.80 m high and have a weight of 2,200 kg.
