Product overview
KIN Nanolia Primer is an acrylic, alkali-resistant sealing primer formulated for use in aerogel insulation thick-coating systems on exterior walls. It seals substrate capillaries, limits efflorescence and mottling, improves penetration and adhesion of subsequent layers, and preserves the breathability required for durable exterior finishes.

Application
Designed for priming and sealing exterior substrates such as cement mortar, concrete and exterior putty within aerogel-based thick coating systems. Also suitable for sealing treatments on residential, commercial and industrial exterior walls.

Install guide

• Substrate preparation: Ensure substrate is sound, dry, clean and free of dust and oil. Moisture <10%, pH <10. Repair loose or damaged areas before priming.
• Application method: Apply by roller, brush or spray. Stir thoroughly before use.
• Dilution: Dilute with clean water up to 10% if required.
• Application conditions: 5–35°C, relative humidity ≤85%. Avoid rain, snow, strong wind and condensation during application and drying.
• Drying time: Surface dry ≈1 hour; hard dry ≈4 hours. Wait 24 hours before applying aerogel intermediate/topcoat.
• Coverage: 8–12 m²/kg per coat (depending on substrate porosity).

Storage

• Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dry place above 0°C. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Shelf life: 12 months in original packaging.
