Detailed description
HydroMesh is a structural fibreglass mesh treated for alkali resistance and engineered for use within HydroPad® gel membrane applications. The mesh is embedded into the first coat of waterproofing gel and then overcoated with a second coat to provide continuous reinforcement. Correct application with a minimum total gel thickness of 2 mm (two coats) ensures complete substrate coverage and the expected watertight performance. A compatible alkali-resistant primer is recommended to improve adhesion to HydroPad® gels. The 10 x 10 mm mesh geometry improves inter-coat bonding during curing and reduces discontinuities across the waterproofing layer.
