Product Description
Zen Corten Bridges are compact pedestrian bridges designed for short spans up to approximately 8 m. The structural decking is formed from a single, thick-walled Corten steel plate, providing the load-bearing surface and primary structural element. The bridge features a low fence with a Corten steel railing capped with hardwood and rounded projecting ends. Over time the Corten surface develops a warm brown weathered patina. An optional dot-pattern can be incorporated into the decking to improve slip resistance.

Materials info

• Corten Steel — weathering steel with warm red-brown colour and rough texture; recyclable; maintenance: none; time to oxidise: 1–3 years; expected service life: approx. 50 years.
• Powder coating (option) — two-coat polyester finish applicable to steel, aluminium, galvanised steel and Corten; colour: RAL or DB on request; texture: smooth; expected service life approx. 10 years; routine maintenance: annual freshwater cleaning or mild alkaline cleaner if required.

The Bridge Process
Streetlife manages a six-step Bridge Process from concept to delivery: concept, design, approval, fabrication, prefabrication and transport/assembly. Bridges are produced largely in prefab state to reduce on-site works; final delivery time depends on client approvals and project scope.
