BainArt Luxe is a bathroom furniture and furnishings shop located in the largest decoration shopping centre in Latin America, CasaShopping in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Studio dLux is responsible not only for the interior architecture, but also for designing most of the products on sale in the shop. The area is divided into two. At the front of the shop, the showroom is where customers are received, and the rear contains the meeting room and offices. The shop was fitted out with the principal aim of highlighting the products and materials used in its design. The shop contains two friezes created using Valchromat – one on the shop-front façade, where a three-dimensional effect has been created using parts made from black, grey and light grey Valchromat, and the other inside the shop, spanning the right wall, made using yellow, violet, blue, black, grey and light grey Valchromat. This panel is always reflected in the mirrors of the furniture arrayed on the opposite wall, creating a colourful and vibrant image.
