The awning initially installed on this private house was ideal for sun protection, but, since the pool area was being used as a dining area not only in summer but also in spring and autumn, a more reliable and higher performing protection from the rain and humidity was needed. Previously, when the wind picked up, it was necessary to close the awning for safety reasons, exposing the space below to the elements. Frequent thunderstorms put a strain on the unprotected furniture in the dining area. The solution was the installation of a high quality pergola with high wind resistance. The chosen model is Luce, characterized by a mobile front that totally frees the view when the awning is fully retracted. The pergola was perfectly installed by Praun & Partner in one day. For optimum visual comfort in the evening hours, integrated and controllable LED lights have been chosen. After the installation of the pergola, the space in the pool area has increased significantly. Thanks to the foldable roof, the solar radiation can be adjusted according to the needs of the moment and the time of year.
