The need of the client, the Hotel Club Saraceno in Arbatax – Tortolì, was to shade the outdoor area overlooking the beach and equipped with a bar, a restaurant and a swimming pool. They needed a quality solution that allowed the light to be modulated inside the veranda. That is why they chose the Twist, the bioclimatic pergola, equipped with blades that can be adjusted and closed automatically. The possibility of adjusting the blades with a remote control, orienting them according to the position of the sun, or closing them completely during a rainy day, persuaded the client. Indeed, the possibility of adjusting the quantity of filtering light was their first need. The complete project includes 9 Twist modules, each one of a different height, that let the light illuminate the spaces even if the blades are closed and, therefore, adding both visual comfort and complete protection to these 250 sq m dedicated to the new bar/restaurant area. The installation was completed in seven days, employing five people.
