Installation
  • Specifications of standard NF P 98 335 and CCTG booklet 29 apply.
  • Installation is carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
  • The bedding mortar is leveled with a straightedge and placed progressively. Thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
  • Pavers must be moistened, especially in hot weather.
  • During laying, mix products of different colours and shades from different batches.
  • Joints are formed between pavers. Joints are filled with mortar no earlier than 24 h after laying and no later than 72 h.
  • Joint width must be as small as possible compatible with product geometry, not less than 5 mm.
  • Immediately after jointing, clean the pavement to avoid any film or deposits on the paver surface.
  • Expansion joints must be provided in accordance with normative requirements (10 ml or 20 m²).

Maintenance
  • Original colors are very stable, requiring minimal maintenance and will develop a natural patina over time.
  • Applying a mineralising treatment will ease cleaning and prolong the original surface appearance.
  • Use of high-pressure cleaners or acidic products is strongly discouraged as they may cause irreversible alteration.
  • De-icing salts should be used in reasonable quantities without excessive stagnant residues.
