INSTALLATION
  • Instructions of standard NF P 98 335 and CCTG fascicle 29 prevail.
  • Installation performed between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Mortar batches must be prepared or supplied progressively as work advances.
  • The bedding mortar is leveled with a straightedge and applied progressively. Its thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
  • Stones must be moistened, especially in hot conditions.
  • During laying, blend products of different colours/shades from different batches.
  • Joints are left between stones. Joints are filled with mortar at the earliest 24 h after laying and at the latest 72 h after laying.
  • Joint width should be as small as possible but not less than 5 mm.
  • Immediately after jointing, the pavement must be cleaned to avoid any film or deposit on the stone surface.
  • Expansion joints must be provided in accordance with regulatory requirements (10 linear m or 20 m²).


MAINTENANCE
  • Products are designed to reproduce natural surface aspects; original colours are very stable.
  • Minimal maintenance required; natural patina develops over time.
  • Application of a mineralizing treatment will ease cleaning and prolong the original surface appearance.
  • Not recommended: high-pressure washers and acidic products (risk of irreversible alterations).
  • De-icing salts must be used reasonably, without excess stagnant residues.
