INSTALLATION
  • The instructions provided by standard NF P 98 335 and fascicule 29 of the CCTG take precedence.
  • Installation is carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
  • The bedding mortar is leveled with a straightedge and laid progressively. Its thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
  • Pavers must be moistened, particularly in hot periods.
  • During laying, mix products of different colours and shades from different batches.
  • Joints are left between pavers; joints are finished with mortar not earlier than 24 h after laying and no later than 72 h.
  • Joint width should be as small as possible but not less than 5 mm.
  • Immediately after jointing, the pavement must be cleaned to avoid any film or deposits on the paver surface.
  • Expansion joints must be provided in accordance with normative requirements (10 m linear or 20 m²).

MAINTENANCE
  • All products of the Replik range are designed to preserve the intended surface aspects; original colours are very stable.
  • Minimal maintenance is required; natural patina occurs over time.
  • Application of a mineralising agent will facilitate cleaning and prolong the life of the original surface appearance.
  • Not recommended: use of high-pressure washers or acidic products (risk of irreversible alterations).
  • De-icing salts should be used in reasonable amounts, avoiding excessive stagnant residues.
