Installation
The indications of standard NF P 98 335 and brochure 29 of the CCTG prevail.
Installation is carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
The mortar bedding is leveled with a straightedge and applied progressively. Its thickness should be as uniform as possible (~4 cm).
Paving stones must be moistened, especially in hot weather.
When laying, mix products of different colours and shades coming from different batches.
Joints are left between the pavers. Joints are filled with mortar not earlier than 24 h after laying and at most 72 h after laying.
Joint width should be as small as possible while respecting the product geometry, not less than 5 mm.
Expansion joints must be provided according to normative requirements (10 lm or 20 m²).
Maintenance
All products in the range are designed to maintain stable surface aspects. Minimal maintenance is generally sufficient; natural patina occurs over time.
Application of a mineralising treatment will facilitate cleaning and extend retention of the original surface appearance.
Use of high-pressure cleaners or acidic products is not recommended as they can cause irreversible alterations.
De-icing salts must be used in moderation and without excessive stagnant residues.
