Urbanscape Drainmat P8-G is a drainage and reservoir membrane (8 mm height) made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) designed specifically for green roofs. The membrane is perforated on one side so the holes face upward to retain water. It is intended for flat green roof systems and is also suitable for inverted roofs due to its permeability, which prevents a water film forming on inverted roof insulation.

Key functional features
The product combines drainage with water retention capacity. The integrated geotextile allows direct application of the plant substrate onto the membrane, saving an installation step. For walkable, non-vegetated areas the geotextile should be removed. The base layer and bedding material can be applied directly onto the dimpled membrane without changing the material.

Performance
Approximate pressure resistance: 200 kN/m², equivalent to a compressive strength of approximately ≈ 20 tonnes/m².
