Safety and warnings

• The cord dimmer may only be operated in dry and enclosed rooms.
• The cord dimmer must not be operated covered; risk of heat build-up that can cause damage or fire.
• Avoid operation under adverse conditions: relative humidity above 80%, moisture, ambient temperatures above 50°C, solvents, flammable gases, dust or vapors.
• Never pour liquids over the cord dimmer; risk of fire or fatal electric shock. If this occurs, unplug immediately and contact a qualified technician.
• Failure to follow the operating instructions may cause device damage, fire or other hazards. If the cord dimmer shows external damage from transport or improper handling, do not operate it and take it out of service immediately. The same applies to any intervention in the device; opening the device voids the warranty.
• Even if the cord dimmer no longer functions, it must be taken out of service immediately.
• Opening the device may expose live parts (risk of electric shock). The device may only be opened by a qualified electrician after ensuring it is disconnected from the mains.
