Safety and warnings

• Operate the cord dimmer only in dry, enclosed indoor locations.
• Do not cover the dimmer during operation. Covering may cause heat buildup, damage or fire.
• Avoid operation under adverse environmental conditions (e.g. relative humidity over 80%, wetness, ambient temperatures above 50°C, solvents, flammable gases, dust, vapours).
• Never pour liquids over the cord dimmer. Risk of fire or lethal electric shock. If liquid enters the device, disconnect the plug from the mains immediately.
• Failure to follow the instructions may result in damage, fire or other hazards. If the dimmer shows external damage from transport or improper handling, do not operate it and take it out of service immediately. The same applies after any intervention in the device. Opening the device or other tampering voids the warranty.
• Opening the device may expose live parts (risk of electric shock). The device may only be opened by a qualified electrician after it has been disconnected from the mains.
