OverviewPLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT lacquered glass combines the purity of colors with the depth of glass. It is intended for interior decoration: furniture, doors and partitions, wall claddings. The collection is built around five current trends and comprises 26 colors redesigned to facilitate selection and inspire contemporary designs.
Collection and shadesThe PLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT range consists of 26 colors grouped into warm neutrals, cool neutrals, nature tones, lounge and pastel shades. Three shades are produced on DIAMANT® base glass:
- DL 120 Satin White
- DL 210 Alpine White
- DL 224 Ecru
Appearance and manufacturingPLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT is a high-durability lacquered glass range. Its opaque colored appearance is obtained by depositing a high-resistance lacquer layer on the rear face of the glass. The range is mainly produced on PLANICLEAR® base glass, with some shades on DIAMANT®.
ApplicationsPLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT enhances interior spaces by lacquering walls in residential areas (entrance halls, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.) and in commercial/tertiary sectors (hotels, offices, laboratories, hospitals, etc.). It is also suitable for furniture, cabinet fronts, closet doors, wall claddings and cooker backs (specific versions available).
AdvantagesReflective under light, PLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT offers a palette coordinated with natural materials (wood, metal, stone).
- Contemporary shades: 26 colors adapted to varied ambiances.
- Variety of finishes: a metallic silver shade is available; a satin/matte finish exists under the name PLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT MATE (lacquer applied on matt-etched glass).
- Quality and durability: high resistance; the product can be installed in all interior rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms (except for certain shades subject to restrictions). Compliant with European standard EN 16477 and rated A+ for VOC emissions.
- Custom decoration: possibility of customization by cold screen printing (figurative or abstract patterns) or by incision before lacquering.
- Maintenance: very easy to maintain: clean with a soft, clean cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner.
- Safety: reaction-to-fire classification A2-s1-d0. A safety version (PLANILAQUE® COLOR-IT SAFE) is available with a safety film applied to the rear to retain fragments in case of breakage.
- Environment: rated A+ according to French VOC regulations for construction products.
TransformationsProcessing is similar to mirror glass: cutting, drilling, edgework, incision, screen printing, sandblasting. For cutting and handling, orient the lacquered face toward the wall/support, flat and free of aggressive materials to protect the lacquer. Apply handling precautions appropriate for lacquered glass.
