Daunia Security is the security fence manufactured by Emmegi spa. It is used for applications requiring a higher level of protection than conventional fencing: military installations, ports and airports, telephone repeaters, radar stations, industrial sites. It is equipped with anti-intrusion spikes mounted on the upper frame of the fence to provide greater security and prevent climbing over. Specifications Daunia Security is security fencing by Emmegi spa consisting of modular, monolithic, non-jointed metal grating panels, 1986mm wide. Mesh of panels is 62×66mm with vertical flat bars 25×3mm (at 62mm centre distance) and horizontal Ø 5mm round connections (at 66mm centre distance). The horizontal frames of the panels are made of 25×4mm plates folded at the ends with a 12×16mm slot for fixing to the posts. The upper frame is fitted with anti-intrusion spikes. IPE 80 posts in carbon steel UNI EN 10025 S235JR are equipped with appropriate holes for attaching the panels and for grounding the fence. Standard centre distance between posts is 1900 mm.
