Product overview
KINJOYA FA PLAIN SA is an atactic polypropylene (APP) polymer-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane with a proprietary self-adhesive backing. Formulated from selected bitumen modified with APP polymers and tailored additives, it provides heat resistance, strong adhesion and low-temperature flexibility.

Construction / Layers
A chemically stable polyester non-woven fabric is used as the central reinforcement to ensure high mechanical strength and dimensional stability. The top layer is an ultra-thin polyethylene film; the bottom layer comprises an aggressive proprietary self-adhesive compound protected by a peelable release film.

Application
Designed for waterproofing building structures including walls, foundations and planter boxes. Primary uses include industrial, commercial and residential roofing systems and other building waterproofing applications where a cold-applied membrane is required.

Install Guide

• Apply over clean, dry, dust- and debris-free substrates. A primer is required on substrates prior to application.
• For re-roofing, remove existing roofing down to a clean substrate and properly seal abandoned penetrations.
• Do not apply over shingles or granulated surfaces.
• Installation steps: a) Start at the low point of the roof. b) Unroll and allow the membrane to relax, then re-roll. c) Peel off the release film and press the self-adhesive side onto the substrate; pay close attention to side laps.
• Details and flashings may be completed with hot asphalt, cold-applied products or torch techniques where project requirements permit.

Storage

• Store rolls upright in a cool warehouse, retaining inner supports; keep on pallets with original protective film intact. Stack no more than two pallets high and use dunnage between layers.
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, freezing temperatures, organic solvents and physical impact.
• Product is suitable for long-term storage when the above conditions are maintained.
• All values are nominal at time of manufacture; actual performance depends on application methods, substrate conditions, environment and product configuration.
