Overview
KINJOYA FM PLAIN SA is a flexible waterproofing membrane produced by impregnating and coating asphalt modified with a styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer. The product uses polyester felt, fiberglass felt, or fiberglass-reinforced polyester felt as the reinforcement and features a polyethylene protective film on the top surface. The underside is coated with an aggressive proprietary self-adhesive compound protected by a removable release film.

Application
Designed for waterproofing building structures such as walls, foundations and planter boxes. Primary applications include industrial, commercial and residential roofing systems where a cold-applied, self-adhesive membrane is required.

Install Guide

• Apply only to clean, dry, dust- and debris-free substrates. Prime substrates as required before application.
• For re-roofing, remove existing roofing materials down to a clean, sound substrate and seal any abandoned penetrations.
• Do not install over shingles or granulated surfaces.
• Installation steps for KINJOYA FM PLAIN SA: a. Start at the low point of the roof. b. Unroll the membrane and allow it to relax, then re-roll prior to placement. c. Peel off the release film and adhere the membrane to the substrate, ensuring proper side laps and alignment.

Storage

• Store upright in a cool, dry warehouse with inner supports retained. Keep on pallets with the original protective film intact. Stack no more than two pallets high with dunnage between layers.
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, freezing temperatures, organic solvents and physical impact.
• When stored under recommended conditions, the product is suitable for long-term storage.
