Product Overview
KIN TARPO DR is a polyester-reinforced, multi-layer synthetic roof waterproofing membrane based on premium thermoplastic polyolefins (TPO). It combines the weather and heat resistance characteristics of ethylene propylene rubber with the weldability of polypropylene, merging the beneficial properties of rubber and plastic and manufactured using advanced processing technology.

Application

• Suitable for metal deck, concrete deck and plywood (OSB)/timber
• Used for flat roof systems including industrial warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, mixed developments, residential, retrofit metal roofs, garden roofs
• Applicable for ballast, fully adhered, mechanical fixing and other related systems on exposed roofs and under ballast

Install Guide

• On main surfaces, KIN TARPO DR is fully adhered or mechanically fastened and is laid to run a few centimetres on the parapet
• Membrane is fastened around the perimeter and around protruding features with bars or adapted screws and plates; at upstands the membrane is heat welded on strips mechanically fastened to the substrate
• Overlaps are heat welded using a leister automatic welder or a hot air gun

Storage

• Store the product upright in a cool warehouse, retaining inner supports; keep on pallets with original protective film intact and stack no more than two pallets high using dunnage between layers
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, freezing temperatures, organic solvents and physical impact
• Suitable for long-term storage when recommended conditions are maintained
• All information is nominal at the time of manufacturing; actual performance may vary depending on application methods, substrate conditions, environmental factors and specific product configurations
