Overview
KIN FLAGO DR is a prefabricated polymer waterproofing sheet with an HDPE (high-density polyethylene) base film. One side is coated with a polymer self-adhesive layer covered by a protective anti-adhesion particle film. The self-adhesive layer chemically cross-links and physically bonds with cast-in-place concrete during cement curing to form a fully adhered waterproof layer that blocks seepage paths.

Application
Applicable to floor slabs and inner waterproof outer walls of underground structures, and suitable for waterproofing of caverns, tunnels, subways and municipal underground works.

Installation guide

• Lay membrane with particle-protected side facing up; use empty-lay method to roll on substrate without adhesive fixation.
• On vertical surfaces, mechanical fastenings (shot nails and washers) may be used within 10–20 mm of the self-adhesive edge at 400–600 mm intervals; ensure overlapping roll covers fastener penetrations.
• Long-edge overlap: remove release film and self-adhere with a minimum width of 80 mm, pressing firmly with a roller.
• Short-edge overlap: butt splice using polymer double-sided self-adhesive tape; peel film from the centerline and press firmly.

Storage

• Store upright in a cool, dry warehouse with inner supports retained. Keep on pallets with original protective film; stack no more than two pallets and use dunnage between layers.
• Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, freezing, organic solvents and mechanical impact.
• Product is suitable for long-term storage when these conditions are maintained.
• All values are nominal manufacturing data; actual performance depends on application method, substrate and environmental conditions.
