Product informationThe press-locked grating is the most widely used grating type in many European countries. Its production method—pressing cross bars into punched bearing bars—allows wide flexibility in mesh size, bearing bar height and thickness, and choice of materials to meet specific industrial requirements. Applications include walkways, platforms, ramps, architectural facades and industrial installations where tailored load capacity and mesh geometry are required.
Manufacture & designCross bars, typically cold-rolled flat steel, are pressed into pre-punched bearing bars. Edge banding is supplied as T-profile or flat section and attached by automatic resistance welding. Anti-slip versions are available by notching the upper surface of bearing and/or cross bars. Opposite end meshes are usually equal; mesh pattern, height and thickness are configurable to project needs.
