Product informationMEISER press-welded grating is manufactured by continuous resistance welding at every intersection between the bearing bar and cross bar to produce a stable, wear-resistant panel. Cross bars are normally twisted square wires, and panels can be produced to measure on in-house automated production lines. Cross bar lengths of up to 1,250 mm are possible for certain mesh types, enabling panels without waste and optimized layout to reduce fixings and installation time.

Characteristics / technical specifications- Manufacture: continuous resistance welding at each intersection under high pressure on automated production lines.
- Cross bars: normally twisted square wires; optional round or ribbed cross bars.
- Panel capability: cross bar lengths up to 1,250 mm for certain mesh types; made-to-measure panels without waste.
- Materials: mild steel, stainless steel V2A and V4A; galvanized options on request.
- Optional cross bar sizes for mild steel: 7 mm (twisted) or 8 mm (ribbed) on request.
- Panels usually banded with flat sections.
- Typical applications: oil & gas, petro-chemical, mining, power stations, industrial platforms and walkways where high shear forces occur.
- Installation benefits: optimized panel widths can reduce number of fixings by up to 20%, lowering installation time and labour costs.
- See technical tables above for available mesh spacings and bearing bar profiles.
