Product informationThis press-welded grating is engineered for offshore oil and gas platforms. The design meets the requirement that a 15 mm test ball must not pass through the grating. An intermediate round bar is welded centrally and parallel to the bearing bars to the underside of the twisted square cross bars using automatic resistance welding, providing enhanced structural stability under heavy offshore loads.

Characteristics / technical specifications- Application: Offshore oil and gas platforms requiring high structural integrity.
- Safety requirement: Designed to prevent passage of a 15 mm test ball.
- Construction: Intermediate round bar welded centrally between bearing bars to underside of twisted square cross bars by automatic resistance welding.
- Benefit: Increased stability and load distribution in harsh offshore conditions.
- Common mesh spacing options: 34.30 x 101.6 and 38.28 x 101.6 (bearing bar x cross bar).
- Standard bearing bar profiles available: 25/3, 30/3, 35/3, 40/3, 45/3, 50/3, 60/3 and corresponding 25/5–60/5 for 5 mm bearing bars.
- Multiple fixing and accessory options to suit corrosion levels and installation methods (see accessory list).
