In industrial and commercial flooring, in the large continuous beam bays, and wherever two different bearing structures are linked together, a separation joint cover is often required, to allow linear expansion movements of neighbouring materials. This profile is supplied self-adhesive, with a special adhesive glue which ensures remarkable movements absorption. For screw-and-dowel installation it is advisable to fix the profile to one of the two structures drilling it along the length only on one side, leaving the other side free for the slip and expansion movements. This profile is also suitable for bumper guards for stretchers in hospitals or as wall protection in schools and offices.
