Structural joints with an aluminium load-bearing structure and a synthetic rubber (Resinprene) insert for 48 mm gaps with declared horizontal (+8/-7) and vertical (+3/-3) movements. Designed to accommodate cyclic or permanent structural movements in large buildings or complexes. Installed between semi-attached parts of the same building or between different spans, they connect gaps while allowing vertical and horizontal displacements. Within the modules formed by the structural joints, a further subdivision of the surface with fraction joints must be provided according to expected traffic and use.

Jointec GEL-A in Natural Aluminum + Resinprene Insert
Profile width: 54 mm; bridges a 48 mm gap. Extruded aluminium profile offering good long-term resistance to chemical and mechanical stress. 47 mm-wide Resinprene rubber insert provides high elasticity to absorb movement. For severe exterior exposure, the brass equivalent (Jointec GM) is recommended.
